TRIMBLE omnidirectional GPS antenna
Omnidirectional magnetic antenna for GPS technology operates in band 1545.72 MHz. The antenna reaches up to 27 dBi gain when combined with an amplifier. GPS antenna with built-in magnet for placement on any metal surface is suitable, for example, on the roof of the vehicle. It is supplied with 5 m cable with SMA(m) connector.
Cable specifications RG174 / U:
The cable labeled RG174 / U is a much cheaper variant of a coaxial cable that is compatible with connectors applicable to a cable diameter of 2.8 mm. It is mainly used for the frequency range 0 - 1 GHz, it can also be used for higher frequencies, but at the cost of higher attenuation – see the attached attenuation table below. The characteristic impedance of the cable is 50 Ω. The reduction factor is fixed at 0.66. The operating temperature range is -20 to 80 ° C.
