Teltonika Gateway TRB255
Teltonika TRB255 is a cellular router designed for industrial applications. The great advantage of this device is the combination of Ethernet and serial communication RS232 / RS485, which allow easy integration into industrial projects.
This industrial LTE Cat M1 and NB-IoT gateway is backward compatible to EGPRS (2G) networks. It can still be used with 2G network, however in case it gets shut down, there is a possibility to switch to LPWAN connectivity options. Dual-SIM provides backup in the event of a failure of one of the Internet Service Providers (ISPs).
The device is equipped with 1x SMA (LTE), 1x SMA (GNSS) connectors and a power connector. Also included are two SIM slots and a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet LAN port.
Data security is provided by a wide range of software functions, such as SMS control, firewall, OpenVPN, IPSec, RMS. It includes also widely used protocols, such as TCP, UDP, IPv4, IPv6, ICMP, NTP, DNS, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SMTP, SSLv3, TLS, ARP, PPP, DHCP, Telnet, MQTT, Wake On Lan (WOL).
This industrial device is equipped with the RutOS system. It is an operating system based on Linux OpenWRT, which is a big plus for the selection of Teltonika routers.
