Detailed description

RF cable adaptor U.FL (f) to MCX (f) bulkhead, LP-088, cable length 10 cm

The adaptor is designed for the frequency range of the U.FL 0-6 GHz / MCX 0-6 GHz connector with the LP-088 series cable, the cable length is 10 cm and diameter is 1.37 mm. Connecting and detaching the U.FL and FME connectors is easy, guarantee of 30 cycles due to the small size and strength of the U.FL connector. The MCX connector has a guarantee up to 500 cycles.

Cable adaptors (pigtails) then serve as an extension for connecting eg 2G / 3G / LTE / Wi-Fi / GPS antennas to various PCBs, modules, Mini PCI cards etc.

Connector B - Connector MCX

Use:

These are coaxial connectors with a latch mechanism. They are compatible with SMB connectors, but are 30% smaller than SMB connectors. The dimensions of the internal contact and the insulator are the same. The impedance of the connector is either 50 Ohm with an operating frequency range up to 6 GHz or 70 Ohm with an operating range up to 3 GHz. They are characterized by high reliability and mechanical stability. They are also used as standard connectors in GPS devices, WLAN networks, fixed and mobile communications.

Coaxial cable LP 088

Cable features:

The LP 088 coaxial cable is compatible with connectors that are applicable to a 1.37 mm cable diameter. Due to its features and size, it is widely used in applications that require high-frequency transmission using miniature coaxial connections. The characteristic impedance of the cable is 50 Ω. It is suitable for applications involving RF communication equipment, as well as electronic measuring instruments. It is most often used for creating cable adaptors with connectors such as U.FL / FAKRA / FME / MHF / MCX / MMC / N / QMA / SMA / SMA-RP / SMB / SMP / TNC and others. The resulting cable adaptors are most often used to connect external antennas to eg cellular modules or IoT / NB-IoT / WiFi / GNSS and other RF devices.
