Omnidirectional antenna for receiving/transmitting GSM signal
Omnidirectional antenna with a magnetic base for receiving/transmitting GSM signal. The GSM antenna operates in bands 900/1800/2100 MHz. The antenna is designed for placement on a metal surface and is suitable for connection with modems and routers. The antenna is supplied with a 5 m RG174/U cable terminated with an MCX(m) RA connector.
Cable specifications RG174/U: The cable labeled RG174 / U is a basic variant of a coaxial cable that is compatible with connectors applicable to a cable diameter of 2.8 mm. The characteristic impedance of the cable is 50 Ω. The reduction factor is fixed at 0.66. The most common cables of this type have a temperature range of -20 to 80 °C. Connector specifications MCX:
It is most often used for creating cable adaptors with connectors such as BNC / FAKRA / FME / MCX / MMCX / N / SMA / SMB / SMP / TNC and others. It is ideal for short and bending stressed connections in measuring and telecommunications technology, for GPS / GSM / WLAN antennas, antenna leads etc. There are also specially modified types of RG174/U cables for outdoor use, which are UV resistant, as well as for use in extreme conditions. There are made of different materials, different qualities.
These are coaxial connectors with a latch mechanism. They are compatible with SMB connectors, but are 30% smaller than SMB connectors. The dimensions of the internal contact and the insulator are the same. The impedance of the connector is either 50 Ohm with an operating frequency range up to 6 GHz or 70 Ohm with an operating range up to 3 GHz. They are characterized by high reliability and mechanical stability. They are also used as standard connectors in GPS devices, WLAN networks, fixed and mobile communications.
