Omnidirectional GSM antenna, optional connector
Omnidirectional adhesive antenna with open end for signal reception in GSM/UMTS technologies. The antenna operates in bands 800/900/1700/1800 MHz. Used in vehicles to connect to cellular modems and routers or signal repeaters. The antenna includes an RG174/U coaxial cable with an open end. The cable length is 3 m. Comes with 3M double-sided tape for easy mounting on glass or plastic.
Cable specifications RG174/U:
The cable labeled RG174/U is a much cheaper variant of a coaxial cable that is compatible with connectors applicable to a cable diameter of 2.8 mm. It is mainly used for the frequency range 0 - 1 GHz, it can also be used for higher frequencies, but at the cost of higher attenuation – see the attached attenuation table below. The characteristic impedance of the cable is 50 Ω. The reduction factor is fixed at 0.66. The operating temperature range is -20 to 80 °C.
It is most often used for creating cable adaptors with connectors such as BNC/FAKRA/FME/MCX/MMCX/N/SMA/SMB/ SMP/TNC and others. It is ideal for short and bending stressed connections in measuring and telecommunications technology, for GPS/GSM/WLAN antennas, antenna leads etc.
