Antenna Active GPS EA-200
Omnidirectional Magnet Mount antenna EA-200 for GPS technology. Operates in band 1545.72 MHz. The antenna reaches up to 37 dB gain when combined with an amplifier. Thanks to the degree of protection IP67, the antenna is also suitable for outdoor use, it can be mounted on the roof of the car. It is used for navigation and tracking systems, electronic books and other devices. The antenna is supplied with 5m cable RG174/U with FAKRA C (f) connector.
Connector specifications FAKRA:
Fakra connectors in a plastic housing. These housings are available in 14 different colors for easy identification. The characteristic impedance of the connector is 50 Ohm, working frequency ranges up to 6 GHz, working temperature is from -40 °C to 105 °C. Fakra connectors are most often used in the automotive industry, for example for connecting antennas, radios, navigation. They are also widely used in M2M and IoT devices. Connecting and disconnecting Fakra connectors is easy, we guarantee up to 25 cycles.
Cable specifications RG174 / U:
The cable labeled RG174 / U is a much cheaper variant of a coaxial cable that is compatible with connectors applicable to a cable diameter of 2.8 mm. It is mainly used for the frequency range 0 - 1 GHz, it can also be used for higher frequencies, but at the cost of higher attenuation – see the attached attenuation table below. The characteristic impedance of the cable is 50 Ω. The reduction factor is fixed at 0.66. The operating temperature range is -20 to 80 ° C.
It is most often used for creating cable adaptors with connectors such as BNC / FAKRA / FME / MCX / MMCX / N / SMA / SMB / SMP / TNC and others. It is ideal for short and bending stressed connections in measuring and telecommunications technology, for GPS / GSM / WLAN antennas, antenna leads etc.
